What I Cooked At Harrods

The Recipes I Cooked Live

That day, I prepared three recipes close to my heart, each chosen for a very specific reason.

The first was Bolognese — not just any pasta sauce, but the dish I grew up eating in Emilia-Romagna. It’s part of who I am, and cooking it in London while sharing my family’s food traditions felt incredibly special.

The second recipe I cooked was my easy one-pan chickpea curry — one of those dishes that proves healthy food can be quick and simple. It actually went viral online, and I love it because it shows that nourishing meals don’t need endless ingredients or complicated techniques. With just a handful of good ingredients and one pan, you can have something comforting, filling and full of flavour. It’s also completely vegan, but all the non-vegans in the audience loved it too

The third recipe was my healthy banana pancakes — another one of your favourites and such a simple, feel-good recipe. They’re naturally sweet, made with just a few ingredients, and the kind of breakfast that makes you feel nourished without any fuss. For this one, having a really good non-stick pan is key, especially if, like me, you don’t like to add unnecessary oil or butter when cooking. It’s the pan that makes all the difference in getting those perfectly golden pancakes.

Which One Will You Try First?

What The Experience Felt Like

I’ll admit, I thought I might feel nervous standing up there in front of so many people, but once I started cooking, the nerves melted away. Instead, I felt pure joy. Meeting food lovers in person, answering questions, sharing tips, and hearing people’s reactions in real time was unforgettable.

It reminded me why I do what I do: food is not just about eating, it’s about sharing, connecting, and creating memories. That day in Harrods, I saw first-hand how a recipe can spark conversation, curiosity, and joy.

A Little Thank You

The feedback I received was incredible — from both vegans and meat-eaters, seasoned cooks and beginners. It made me so proud of the recipes I’ve developed and the community that continues to grow around them.

And a special thank you again to Scanpan, not only for supporting me at Harrods but also for helping me show what’s possible when you have the right tools in the kitchen.

A Special Gift Just For You!

And because so many of you ask about the pans I use, I have a special gift just for you: Scanpan have kindly given me a 20% discount code to share. If you’d like to try the same pans I use every day in my kitchen (and that I used at Harrods), you can get 20% off at ScanpanUK with the code FLOFLO at checkout.

I was very honoured to be offered this amazing discount for my readers, especially because I know it’s a rare thing! Just so you know, this is an affiliate link, which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to buy through it. You know me, I only ever share brands and products I genuinely use and love in my own kitchen — and if you follow my stories and videos, you’ll see Scanpan in action in most of them.

Sharing This Journey With You

Cooking live at Harrods will always be one of those unforgettable moments in my journey, but what makes it truly special is being able to share it with all of you. Every recipe I create is only brought to life when it’s made in your kitchens, and I’m so grateful for this community we’ve built together. Thank you for cooking along with me, for sending your feedback, and for letting me be a small part of your everyday meals. Here’s to many more recipes, stories, and memories shared around the table — together.
