Berry Smoothie Bowl

Florencia Baldini Florencia Baldini Last Updated on June 7, 2026

It’s not difficult to eat more fibre when your breakfast (or snack!) looks like this.

This berry smoothie bowl is one of those recipes that somehow manages to be stunning, nourishing, and ridiculously easy all at once. We’re talking a bowl loaded with fibre, antioxidants, omega-3s, natural vitamins — and absolutely zero added sugar. Just whole, real ingredients doing all the heavy lifting.

Why You’ll Love This Smoothie Bowl

  • Ready in minutes — no cooking, no faff
  • Naturally sweet — the banana and berries handle that
  • Nutritionally packed — fibre, antioxidants, omega-3s and vitamins in every spoonful
  • Zero added sugar — just whole fruit goodness
  • Budget and convenience-friendly — made with frozen fruit from Ocado

Tips for the Perfect Smoothie Bowl

  • Keep it thick. The less liquid, the better — you want a spoonable consistency, not a drinkable one.
  • Use frozen fruit. It creates a colder, thicker, creamier base without needing ice.
  • Don’t skip the toppings. They add texture, extra nutrients, and make the whole thing feel like a treat.
  • Make it your own. Add a spoonful of almond butter for healthy fats and protein, or a handful of spinach for an extra greens boost — you won’t taste it, promise.

A Word on the Frozen Fruit

We used Ocado frozen berries here, and honestly? Frozen fruit is an underrated hero ingredient. It’s picked and frozen at peak ripeness, which means the nutritional value is often higher than fresh fruit that’s been sitting on a shelf. It also means you can make this bowl any time of year, straight from your freezer, in minutes. Convenient, affordable, and genuinely nutritious — that’s a win all round.

All The Ingredients Are From Ocado *

I switched my food shopping to Ocado a few months ago and honestly haven’t looked back. I love that I can always find exactly what I need — from good-quality frozen fruit to chia seeds, plant based milk, and a great selection of all my favourite brands, all in one place. The variety is brilliant, and it makes recipe testing so much easier when you can rely on the same brands every time. For this smoothie, I picked up everything in one shop: simple, everyday ingredients, but sourced well, and you can really taste it in the finished result.

I’m partnering with Ocado, and I’m so chuffed to be able to give you a special discount.

If you’ve never shopped with Ocado before, you can use code 30FLO on the Ocado website to get 30% off your first order plus 3 months of unlimited free deliveries. Such an amazing offer—let me know in the comments if you’ll be using it .
