If you’re used to ultra-processed treats, the taste might feel a little different at first—it’s a gentler, more natural kind of sweetness. Over time, many people find it even more enjoyable because it feels lighter and leaves you feeling good after eating.
Absolutely! My goal is to make healthy baking simple and accessible to everyone, no matter your experience. The recipes use just a handful of wholesome ingredients, come together in one bowl, and don’t require any special equipment. If you can stir and pour, you can make these recipes. And the best part? They’re forgiving—so even if you’re brand new to baking, you’ll still end up with something buonissimo.
Yes! I’ve made a real effort to keep every recipe simple and accessible, using everyday foods you can pick up at your local supermarket—no matter where you are in the world. It was really important to me that you don’t have to search for hard-to-find items or order expensive specialty products online. You’ll also notice I use many of the same ingredients across different recipes, so you can make more with less and keep the cost lower.
Look out for the icons at the top of each recipe (GF, DF, NF). Where oats are used, I note that certified gluten-free oats should be chosen if you have coeliac disease or an allergy, as oats can sometimes be cross-contaminated.
I’ve done my best to label recipes clearly (GF, DF, NF), but ingredients can vary by brand. If you have coeliac disease, allergies, or intolerances, please double-check packaging and choose certified products where needed—for example, certified gluten-free oats. I can’t take responsibility for individual reactions, so please use your own judgement when making swaps.

Absolutely! Every single one of the recipes in Healthy Sweet Treats are naturally gluten-free or can easily be made gluten-free with simple swaps. When a recipe includes oats, I always recommend using certified gluten-free oats, as regular oats can be contaminated with gluten.
