Stop buying digestive biscuits from the supermarket and make my Healthy Oat & Chia Biscuits instead!

These wholesome biscuits are made with no butter, no flour and no refined sugar, yet they’re packed with flavour and naturally rich in fibre thanks to oats, chia seeds and flaxseeds.

They’re also one of the easiest bakes you’ll ever make. Simply add all the ingredients to one bowl (wet ingredients first, then the dry), mix, shape into biscuits and bake. That’s it!

Whether you need an afternoon pick-me-up, a lunchbox snack or something to enjoy with a cup of tea, these biscuits are a delicious homemade alternative made with real ingredients that will keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Why You’ll Love These Oat & Chia Biscuits

  • Naturally high in fibre
  • No butter
  • No refined sugar
  • No flour
  • Made in one bowl
  • Ready in just 20 minutes
  • Perfect for meal prep
  • Freezer friendly

Why These Are Better Than Most Shop-Bought Digestive Biscuits

Many supermarket digestive biscuits are made with refined flour, refined sugar and vegetable oils, and often contain a long list of added ingredients.

These homemade biscuits are made from simple pantry staples you can recognise. The oats, chia seeds and flaxseeds provide fibre, while the almond butter adds healthy fats that help make them more satisfying than many traditional biscuits.

They’re not just delicious—they’re made with ingredients that love you back.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or in the fridge for up to 1 week.

They also freeze brilliantly for up to 3 months. Simply thaw at room temperature whenever you fancy one.
