Healthy Frozen Banana & Peanut Butter Clusters

If you’re looking for a wholesome snack that’s delicious, easy to make, and perfect for any season, these frozen banana and peanut butter clusters are the answer.

With just three simple ingredients—bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate—you can create a naturally sweet treat that’s perfect for satisfying cravings without any guilt. Customise with your favourite nut butter, and don’t skip the optional pinch of salt for that extra burst of flavour!

These clusters freeze to the perfect consistency: firm enough to hold but never rock-solid, making them ready to enjoy straight from the freezer. Whether it’s a warm summer day or just an afternoon pick-me-up, they’re always a hit.

Tips

  • Banana needs to be very ripe as we are not adding any extra sugar, it is important that the bananas are at the pick of their natural sweetness. You’ll see black spots on the peel that will tell you they are at the perfect stage of ripeness for this recipe.
  • The hardest part is always the waiting time for them to freeze and enjoy, wait at least 3 hours before eating them.

Notes

Take out of the freezer only when you are ready to eat (they don’t need defrosting and they will defrost quickly).
Don’t worry, they won’t break your teeth, the ingredients freeze but never become solid, they just have the perfect consistency.
I added a pinch of salt which is optional but I LOVE it and really recommend it.
