Chocolate lovers (also me), this one’s for you! These brownie truffles are rich, fudgy, and made with wholesome ingredients. They’re the ultimate treat—quick to make, no special equipment needed, and with just five ingredients.
What makes them even better? A little trick: pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds to transform them into soft, gooey bites of chocolate heaven. The melted chocolate chips take these to a whole new level.
Perfect for snacking, satisfying your sweet tooth, or sharing (if you can bear to). Trust me, you’ll love them as much as I do.

Tips
- Make sure your almond butter is smooth and not too stiff to help with easy mixing. If it is too stiff: microwave for 10–20 seconds or place the jar in a bowl of hot water. This will loosen it up and make mixing easier.
- Use fresh ground oats for the best texture—if ground too long, they can become powdery.
- Chill the mixture briefly if it feels too soft before shaping into balls.
- Use slightly damp hands to prevent the mixture from sticking while shaping.
- Store in the fridge immediately after forming to help them firm up quickly.
- Optional top tip: For a gooey centre, microwave each truffle for 5-10 seconds just before eating.
Swaps
Oats: Use ground almonds for a grain-free option, you will need to adjust the measurements accordingly.
Almond butter: Swap with peanut butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free alternative.
Maple syrup: Try honey, agave, or date syrup – just keep the texture in mind.
Dark chocolate: Any chocolate you love works but I would suggest a dark chocolate option for a healthier treat, anything above 50% is great.
Storage
Fridge: Keep the truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Freezer: You can also freeze them for up to 2 months – just let them thaw for a few minutes before eating, or microwave for 5–10 seconds for that gooey centre.
