Lentil Burger

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can lentils, drained. 400g (265g drained)
  • 40 g oat flour silkily blend oats
  • 40 g Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp oil

For the sauce

  • 2 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp tahini
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • To a bowl add the lentils and mash with a fork.
  • Add: oat flour, coriander, Parmesan cheese and the spices listed in caption.
  • Mix then add a bit of water and oil.
  • Mix well until the ingredients are well combined then shape with your hands into patties.
  • Cook in a pan on both sides with a bit of oil until golden.
  • Let them cool down slightly before serving.

I served with a quick and easy yoghurt-tahini sauce.
