Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, green cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground star anise
  • ½ teaspoon ground fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add all the spices into a small bowl or directly into your spice jar.
  • Mix or shake well until everything is evenly combined.
  • Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark cupboard for up to 1 year.
  • Shake before each use.

Notes

Inspired by traditional German Lebkuchen for a deeper, more authentic flavour.
Use 1–2 teaspoons in biscuits, cakes, porridge, granola, or coffee.
For stronger aroma, mix into melted butter or warm honey before adding to bakes.
Store in an airtight jar for up to 1 year.
