Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Slice the dates in half lengthways and remove the stones.
Place the dates cut-side up on the lined baking tray.
Add a small slice of cheddar to each date.
Top each one with a pecan, pressing it in gently so it stays put.
Bake for 8-12 minutes, just until the cheddar is melted and the dates are warm and sticky.
