This 3-ingredient chocolate brownie is one of the simplest and healthiest ways to satisfy a chocolate craving. It’s made with just banana, nut butter, and cacao powder—three wholesome ingredients you probably already have at home. There’s no added sugar, no gluten, no dairy, and no fuss. The natural sweetness of ripe banana means you don’t need anything else to make it taste indulgent, and the healthy fats from nut butter make it satisfying and nourishing.
Quick to make, no special equipment needed, and packed with real, nourishing ingredients that leave you feeling great

Tips
- Use a very ripe banana – the riper, the better. It acts as the natural sweetener and gives a rich, fudgy texture.
- If your nut butter is roasted, it adds a deep, toasty flavour that works beautifully with the cacao.
- For extra richness, add a few chocolate chips or a square of dark chocolate on top before baking—it will melt into the centre like a mini lava cake.
Swaps
I have used cashew butter for this recipe but any nut or seed butter works—peanut, almond, tahini, sunflower seed butter.
